Shanghai Shenhuo Aluminium Foil Co., Ltd is a joint venture, founded jointly invested by Henan Shenhuo Group and Shenmei International investment Co., Ltd (Hong Kong). She was founded in March 2004, the registered capital of 49 million US dollars. The company is located in Shanghai Pudong Kangqiao industrial Zone, near the intersection of Shenjiang South Road and Xiuyan Road, covers an area of 368 mu, near S20 south loop, east 12 km away from Pudong International Airport, and adjacent to Shanghai Disneyland. The geographical position is superior, the traffic is very convenient
The development plan of the company is divided into three stages. First stage started from June of 2005.In this period 1 billion RMB was invested, and the annual production capacity of wide side and super-thin aluminum foil is expected to be 25,000T/a. This project will finish and formally puts into production in Jan of 2007. We will choose the proper time to build the second and third projects. The second stage is planned to invest 1.3 billion RMB, and the annual production capacity of wide side and super-thin aluminum foil will achieve to be 40,000T/a. The third stage is planned to add 0.7 billion RMB, and the annual production capacity of wide side and super-thin aluminum foil will achieve to be 35,000T/a. After the completion of the overall planning, the company can form annual wide, ultra-thin aluminum foil around 100,000 tons of production capacity, as the widest, thinnest and the products cover the widest range, with world class level of modern aluminum foil production enterprise.
The company has a large number of specialists and the technical engineers. The college education of the staff of more than 64%, of which 7 graduate students.
The main product lines monitor and measure facilities are all imported from abroad, with the advanced level of technology in the world. In the first stage, three 2,150mm wide foil mills are provided by Siemens-VAI (UK), three Separators and one Doubler are from Kampf-WT Germany, and one Work Roll Grinding machine is from the Herkules Germany. Shenhuo also owns advanced test and measure devices are from Italy and US, such as universal electronic tension tester, cleanness detector, precision sampling, electronic analyzer and others.
